Over the years, I have curated a selection of outstanding accommodations in Spain, specifically in the Sierra de Guara Reserve and Alquezar area. Hotel Santa Maria de Alquezar is a small and charming hotel overlooking the ancient Jalaf Ibn Rasis castle and the Vero canyon. Located in a traditional stone building on the main street of the unique and historic village of Alquezar, most rooms include a balcony with views of the surrounding rural area. The accommodation features a library and a bar. Restaurants and cafes are conveniently located near the hotel, all within walking distance. The hotel is cozy and clean, with rooms offering stunning views highly recommended.
Alodia is a quaint, small country hotel located at the edge of the Sierra de Guara Nature Reserve. The rooms are bright and spacious, each featuring a flat-screen TV, with most offering views of the medieval village of Alquezar. Just a five-minute walk away, you’ll find a selection of traditional restaurants. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, and a delightful breakfast is served on-site.
Hostería de Guara is situated within the Sierra de Guara National Park. Surrounded by lush green mountain landscapes and fresh air, the hotel features an outdoor swimming pool set in beautiful gardens. It also boasts an excellent on-site restaurant.
